Aon appoints leaders to new APAC roles including CEO of Asia Reinsurance Solutions

Global re/insurance broking group Aon has named Soeren Soltysiak as Asia Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Reinsurance Solutions, alongside a number of other appointments designed to elevate its reinsurance leadership in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.

Based in Singapore, Soltysiak reports to George Attard, APAC CEO of Reinsurance Solutions at Aon.

In his new role, effective April 1st, 2025, Soltysiak takes on responsibility for driving Aon’s reinsurance strategy across treaty, facultative, analytics and operations. Previously, he served as strategic growth leader, APAC Reinsurance Solutions at Aon.

At the same time, Aon has appointed Musa Adlan as managing director, Asia, Reinsurance Solutions. This appointment sees Adlan expand his current responsibilities to both develop and refine the Reinsurance Solutions’ Asia growth and product segmentation strategy. He will work closely with Soltysiak and Aon’s product leaders across the region. Adlan will continue as head of Southeast Asia Reinsurance Solutions, and will report to Soltysiak, confirms the broker.

Additionally, Aon has appointed Pierre Vende and Danny Alexander as co-heads of life and health Reinsurance Solutions, and named Soojin Kim and Cindy Gu as co-heads of retrocession APAC for Reinsurance Solutions. Lastly, Tom Drake has been named chairman of Reinsurance Solutions Speciality, APAC.
