Allianz Trade’s Global Head of Reinsurance Benoît des Cressonnières to retire

Allianz Trade, a trade credit insurer, has announced the retirement of Benoît des Cressonnières, Global Head of Reinsurance of Allianz Trade and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Euler Hermes Reinsurance AG, on September 30th, 2025.
Philippe Dessèvre, currently Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Allianz Trade in DACH, a role he has served in since 2022, succeeds him effective October 1st, 2025, subject to the standard regulatory approval requirements.
Benoît des Cressonnières has held several leadership roles within Allianz Trade since joining in 1997, as CFO of Allianz Trade in Belgium.
From 2000 to 2007, he was the Director of Reinsurance & Investor Relations and Corporate Secretary at the Headquarters in Paris. Eventually he served in his current role as Global Head of Reinsurance of Allianz Trade and CEO of Euler Hermes Reinsurance AG, based in Zurich.
He is simultaneously a member of the Managing Committee of the Allianz Group Reinsurance Office, and for the last 4 years, he was also Vice-President and then President of the International Credit Insurance & Surety Association (ICISA).
Dessèvre joined Allianz Trade in 2000 as Head of Financial Control for Allianz Trade in France. He then held several leadership positions within the group, including CFO/COO of Allianz Trade Multinationals and Allianz Trade in France, and Group Chief Risk Officer from 2016 to 2021.
